Adidas WKF-approved instep guards, blue

Adidas instep guards WKF are designed for maximum protection of the instep and the foot in training and competition. They meet the strict requirements of the World Karate Federation (WKF), thanks to which they are approved for all official tournaments.

The guards are made from durable and dimensionally stable PU material, which keeps its shape even in long-term use. The inner IMF absorbing padding effectively absorbs impacts, reduces the load on the foot and increases safety in contact techniques.

Advantages of the fastening and fixing

The well thought-out attachment system is one of the main strengths of these guards:

• Fastening by means of an elastic Velcro strap ensures a firm and stable fit on the foot

• Elastic toe loops prevent the guard from shifting during fast movements and kicks

• A wide rear Velcro strap distributes pressure evenly and increases comfort in wear

• The guards do not slip, do not twist and stay exactly in place, even during an intensive fight

This fixing system allows natural movement of the foot without restricting technique.

Ergonomic shape and compatibility

• Anatomically shaped to follow the foot naturally

• A narrow, sporty profile for better control of movement

• Can be used on their own or in combination with Adidas WKF shin guards, to which they attach easily with a hook-and-loop fastening
